The Jatbula Trail is a trip of a lifetime, giving you the opportunity to walk through Nitmiluk National Park from the famous Nitmiluk Gorge to Leliyn (Edith Falls). Thr trail is an ancient Song Line used by the Jawoyn people. Overlooking the Seventeen Mile Valley and beyond, the trail features magnificent waterfalls tumbling from the high sandstone escarpment, these then feed into creeks surrounded by shady monsoon forests and the rock outcrops of the escarpment provide great opportunities to view stunning ancient rock art.

You will hike between 10 to 17 kilometres per day, completely dependant of your campsite destinations, which can be reached between 12 pm and 2 pm each day. On arriving at camp you are free to relax, swim, read and enjoy the beauty of your surrounds. Each campsite has its own water source, from a small babbling spring fed creek to a 30 metre high waterfall. Each afternoon brings about a different pool or spa to sit back and relax in. More information on the Jatbula Trail can be found here.

At the end of day 5 we will drop you at your accommodation so you can become reacquainted with your soft, comfortable bed (you might miss the stars though!).

Day 6 will give you the opportunity to visit Nitmiluk Gorge on a 2 hour cruise, take in the amazing art, the sheer cliffs and the grand presence of the place. Then spend another night inside before being picked up for the next leg of your journey. Get the blood flowing back into your arms again and enjoy 6 days of serenity floating downstream on the Katherine/Flora and Daly Rivers. More information on the Kayak tour can be found here.
